COMMONWEALTH AVENUE
Nestled in Charlotte's Plaza Midwood area, this charming Cape Cod style cottage, originally built in 1940, underwent a stunning transformation, seamlessly blending modern functionality with classic charm.
The heart of the home now flows seamlessly, with custom cabinets, unlacquered brass hardware, and open shelving creating a spacious and inviting kitchen perfect for gatherings. A dedicated coffee station and a thoughtfully designed puppy feeding area add touches of warmth and convenience, while plastered walls and locally sourced lighting fixtures enhance the space's understated elegance.
In the primary bathroom, retaining the original brick elements, we created a harmonious blend of charm and modern sophistication. A custom-designed vanity with built-in storage and a laundry hamper offers functionality, while plastered walls and a ribbed window add texture and privacy. The neutral palette, with green wall tiles and soft sandy floor tiles, creates a serene backdrop, complemented by brass accents and locally sourced accessories.
Both projects reflect our commitment to creating spaces that enhance our clients' day-to-day living experience, while respecting the unique history and character of each home.
